Turning over a new leaf

I've just been playing with my new toy, to whit a leaf blower from Home Base purchased for the princely sum of £29.95. I can exclusively report that it is fab - contrary to what Jamie might say, I did not buy it because it looks like the BFG out of Doom and I don't make 'KCHOW! BUDDA! BUDDA!' noises when I'm using it, and anyone who says I does is lying. I'm now looking expectantly at all of the leaves on the tree at the end of the garden just daring them to drop on my lovely new lawn. Feeling lucky, you leafy little punks?

We went to Homebase too yesterday as bluerose wanted more shelves for the books he keeps at his flat, having put more shelves here too. I got new chopping boards, bright pink, and a one-cup push the sieve down coffee maker to use at work and very cheap refills for the water filter thing.

Also, there is a New Next there, they are developing the area, and I got a skirt and hoodie :).
