May. 9th, 2007 09:32 pmYou know, if you are planning to run a training session on a purchase ordering system and you need a training database setting up, then you really should think about giving me a little more notice than midday on the day before you want it. That's all I'm saying. I mean, you probably organised the session a couple of weeks ago, so maybe you could have let me know then, and it might have given you a chance to test it first instead of expecting me to be on call in case anything goes wrong with it tomorrow ...
I ended up working till six tonight setting up the above, then rushed out with the dog for a walk, set up Jamie's steering wheel for the PS2 and made a cup of cappuccino in time for Dave arriving to discuss what we are going to do regarding the AGM for the Darnall centre next week and how much we will need to contribute as a group to stave off the council property sharks who want to redevelop the site. We conducted our discussions in the pub down the road and agreed that we really must incorporate more drinking into our fencing activities ... :-)
