Perchance to dream

thermalsatsumaA week of getting up before the dawn (well, four days I suppose) had taken its toll, so I toddled upstairs for a snooze before taking the dog out.
I dreamed that I was asleep in my bedroom at my parents house. In a weird out of body way, I started walking around the room noting that the old airing cupboard and more ominously that a heavy sleet was now battering against the windows.
I then felt a sharp pain in my right eyebrow. Jan had hold of a long eyebrow hair and was winding around a pencil, pulling it tight. I flinched and screwed up my eyes in reaction, fearing to struggle.
I then woke up to find a large cat biting my face. All hail Frank, the furry alarm clock.
