Thursday Lunch

I've just been down to Tescos for my lunchtime sushi (with the wasabi on the left, natch) - it's a bit of an indulgence, but I reckon that £1.99 isn't bad for a healthy meal.

They've been rebooting the mail servers at work, so that an important bug report we'd sent to the suppliers of our purchase order system last night didn't actually hit the ether until mid-morning. Grrr. It's going to be hectic for the next couple of weeks - my boss still hasn't finished the procedure guides (which she will no doubt want me to convert into html for the intranet at the last possible minute) and we are supposed to be training people all next week.

What else? We watched Battlestar Galactica S2x12 last night. Superb stuff - a majestic and sweeping space battle, treachery and double dealing and a moment of intimacy between two characters that nearly made me cry. Best thing on the telly at the moment by a long chalk and several blackboards.

The battles in Babylon 5 and Firefly were silent as well, iirc.

babylon 5's were, the noises were in ship, and generally a pretty decent soundtrack, the final assult on earth is still to me the best space battle sequence, with the deathstar bombing run second.

I don't like Battlestar. We watch because bluerose loves it. I like sushi though.
